Concept & script process

I leveraged The Matrix’s 25 year anniversary by creating a script that plays on a common fear: AI taking your job.

Using the world of The Matrix, I positioned setting up your own company with 1st Formations as a solution to beating AI. If you become your own boss, AI won’t be able to take your job. Simple.

Recreating an iconic scene

We filmed the ad in a converted warehouse in Haggerston, London. It was important to find somewhere that would easily transport audiences into the grimy world of The Matrix. Our cast did a good job too, especially because the power kept going. 

73K views and counting

The video has performed well on YouTube without any paid promotion. I’m pleased with the result and think brand awareness videos like this help to set 1st Formations apart from competitors, like Tide and Companies Made Simple.
